Well, we help farmers reap more produce from their land, through a number of initiatives. Firstly, by providing productivity training. Secondly, we help farmers sell their product at a premium, by supporting them in organic and/or fairtrade certification. Thirdly, since we process locally, we will always buy locally. This ensures that farmers have a reliable sales channel and source of income. Lastly, we don’t buy through middlemen, instead the middlemen’s margin remains with the farmers.
